The technology in entertainment has undergone some drastic and subtle changes over the last century. Children and adults used to occupy themselves with a rousing game of "stick ball" which later evolved into baseball and gained a since of structure with rules and professional teams. In the middle of the century the first arcade video games were produced and with that many people flocked to stores and arcades and spent hours and millions with this new and fun technology. As the decades passed the number of people that played video games has increased by numbers that no one foresaw. People that play lots of video games or "Gamers" have grown in to a nation of their own and have forced people to be more accepting of their lives and ideals. This some nation of gamers is increasing and in the next years nearly everyone will have played at least one.

One another side there are the sports enthusiasts. These are the people that are always knowledgeable in sports and are always watching some sort of sport whether it be football, baseball, soccer, or whatever. Like gamers there is a varying kinds of sports fans, some might know what is happening with the team in their local area, while others will know what is happening for the teams everywhere. Some of these people have been considered crazy and addicted but they are just enthusiastic about something that brings them joy.

Technology in music has made it much more entertaining and complex than it used to be. In the beginning all we had available was our voices and simple stringed instruments. now we have electric and acoustic guitars, horns, drums, generated sounds, and much more. The generated sounds offer up thousands of sounds for whatever you want and sounds the best with its nearly unlimited customization. People had to rely on their stringed instrument to get tempo and rhythm while now we have many instruments that cooperate to move the song along and make awe inspiring sounds when heard together.

Tech in Media

Technology in the media has helped the world greatly. News, mail, and other things used to be hand written and sent by horseback to the other towns or states, but now we have Internet and cameras which tape and share news and events simply and effectively. The media these days has grown so much that we don't even have to interview someone face-to-face, we can just talk to them live via the Internet or satellite. During the election, for instance, we had a hologram of a dead person that we talked to and interacted with. These advancements make you wonder what we will accomplish next in the coming generations.

Technology in entertainment has advanced beyond anything anyone would have imagened when they made the very first movies. movies started so simple, some people moving around on screen with text to fill you in on what is happening or what is said. Now days movies are extremely advanced with the high degree of special effects and CG involvement in them. the most imaginative ideas are brought to life because we have been able to draw them into and make them move about the movies. One of the most recent achievements was the introduction of 3D movies which bring the movies to you, and make you feel asthough you are apart of it all. The potential that this technology brings to the world is outstanding and there is no limit, i believe, to what advancements will be made in the distant future.

Technology, the world is full of it and it runs our lives. we have everything from a pen that does math for us to robots that know what they are looking at. The technological advancements we have made over the past few millenniums has been immense. Fire, the biggest technology advancement during the Stone Age is now a child's play thing, much to the dismay of adults and their values. What used to be wooden lances and rocks is now hunting rifles and shotguns, although the traditional bow and arrow has stayed basically unchanged by time other than stronger materials and different configurations. That world has created and improved upon everything it has needed to exist, and we will contuinue to do so forever.
